Choctaw hut

Economy:
Their environment was warm and cold so they used animal skin and hide. For when it was cold they had plenty of food and a living circle. The animals followed the flowers and plants, so they followed the animals.

Tools:
Choctaw hunters primarily used bows, arrows, fishing spears, and nets.

The men used bows, tomahawks, and clubs in war.
Food:
Choctaw Indians ate a lot of corn, squash, and other vegetables, as they were excellent farmers. The men would hunt for deer, turkey, and other small game, and would fish when they could.
Clothing:
Native American women wore skirts and leggings, though the length, design, and material of the skirts varied from tribe to tribe. They wore moccasin or mukluk(heavier boot) for shoes.

Religion:

The Choctaws are part of a group of tribes collectively known as Muskogeans. They believed that they emerged from the earth through a mound called Nanih Waiya (which is a Productive Mountain) in Mississippi, the Creeks were the first to emerge, followed by the Cherokees, the Chickasaws, and the Choctaws.

Legend of the Choctaws:
Ohoyo Chishba Osh she was a mythical woman who brought corn to the Choctaws. Her name means woman who stretches way back (also known as a unknown woman).
